You can even send international messages. . Well, this Facebook provides an instant messaging service which takes only few seconds to reach its destination. The only drawback is you can send only 100 characters SMS and you can send only 4 SMS per day.

In a window that comes click on allow.
Enter the mobile number of the sms reciever.
Enter the text you want so send and click on send

Hence monitoring your children is the top most priority of every parent. Verity is an application which may help you to monitor your child and track their activities on internet. Using this software is very easy. While installing this app you have to create an admin account first. Enter your Email address, Password, and click Next to setup your account.

Customize Windows 8 by setting up Pictures as Passwords

Windows 8 is the latest version of Windows OS. It has lots of new features and provides an entire new look. Look and feel of tablet phones, setting up of Metro Style UI, Picture Password, and PIN logon are the features never seen before in any operating system.
Yes, it is true that now Windows operating system allows you set pictures as your Passwords. This feature was not available in previous versions of Windows. In previous versions you had to create Passwords for authentication. Now Windows 8 offers you three different methods for authentication in Windows 8, setting up passwords, pictures and PIN.
To set pictures as your Password:
• Open charms bar window and click on Settings button to open PC settings
• Now choose Users option from the left panel and select Create Picture Password from right panel.
• You will be asked to enter your current Password
• Now click on Choose picture to create a picture Password.
• It will take you to the picture library folder to select your desired picture.

• Select the picture and click Use This Picture.
• Then the system will ask you to create a gesture by using your mouse
After creating a gesture click on save and your picture Password becomes operative. You can draw lines, circles, combination of points etc as a gesture. Now whenever you will turn on your desktop/laptop you will be asked to select a picture and to create a gesture to get access to your system. This is really some innovative way of logging in, isn’t it? All in all a stylish way to protect your system.

A threat to attack a crucial part of the Internet on Saturday by members of the mercurial, leaderless hacker collective called Anonymous appears to have had no discernible impact so far.
By Saturday in the Eastern United States, there were no major signs of an attack, said several people monitoring the Domain Name System. Some Anonymous hackers had threatened six weeks ago to attack that system, which converts domain names like google.com into numeric addresses that computers use. It led to a quiet global multimillion-dollar effort to strengthen the Domain Name System in recent weeks.
“This is kind of anticlimactic,” said Bill Woodcock, whose nonprofit Packet Clearing House has been part of that campaign. “That was kind of the goal.”
One person monitoring traffic over one of the 13 root servers that are part of the Domain Name System said there was only a five-minute spike in traffic at midnight Friday Greenwich Mean Time after which network traffic seemed to have subsided; the person spoke on condition of anonymity because of the delicate nature of his job to maintain Internet infrastructure.
The effects of a sustained attack on the Domain Name System can be felt only after several days, when parts of the system would be impaired by very heavy flow of network data.
On Twitter, which is what the hackers affiliated with Anonymous use as a soapbox to spread their message, there was little chatter Saturday about the prospective attack. Instead, Anonymous called on its student supporters to put on masks and register their protest against restrictions on freedom of speech.
“Anonymous challenges you to gather your friends and to show your support by wearing a mask, educating your friends about their rights and showing your teachers that school is a place of learning and expression,” it announced on one of its blogs.

Delivered to your door by a fleet of 176 trucks piled high with dozens of boxes, it promises immaculate categorization of every single YouTube video. Too bad you won’t be able to fit even 1% of the collection through your front door. It offers up your favorite categories or the entire collection, which contains upwards of 400,000 discs, and at a cost of $5 per disc, YouTube can only hope you’re willing to shell out more than $2 million for the order. Alternatively, you could still go to the normal YouTube website — for free, of course.


The demographic that grew up with the tabletop-game favorite Hungry Hungry Hippos has aged quite a bit. Now ThinkGeek is trying to win back some of that crowd by updating the game using the current technology of the era. It’s proposed the Hungry Hungry Hippos for iPad, and it looks to be all of the fun with none of the wily mess of the original game. Never again will one of the plastic marbles launch across the room and hit your opponent in the eye. Come to think of it, that was most of the fun of the game, anyway. Regardless, a number of commenters have pointed out that the game would actually be possible to make.

Sure, they look goofy, but at least it’s not another boxy tablet. (Perhaps it took a cue from the Pyramid tablet introduced on The Office a few weeks ago.)


As those pesky virtual keyboards on our smart phones get more cluttered, what if we could go back to the 1800s? No, Gmail is not suggesting we ditch its technology, but instead it’s hoping that we’ll revert to the typing method from that bygone era: Morse code. It has developed a keyboard that uses two simple keys: dot and dash. Its creators claim you can even tap out two messages at a time (hopefully your brain can keep up). Is this one case where the technology of the past will become that of the future? With Gmail having cast a spell over so many e-mail users, who’s to say it can’t change the way we type?
