Max Payne 3 has been just over the horizon for a long time now — ever since new images first emerged of the gun-toting badass, looking much older, balder, and tank-toppier. But the hotly-anticipated shooter has finally nailed down a May 15 release date, and now comes a brand-new trailer which shines some light on the story. (Literally — in stark contrast to the perpetual-midnight urban hell of the first two games, Max Payne 3 is set in sunny São Paulo.) I love how the whole trailer is set to a Giorgio Moroder-esque synth track — or maybe, post-Drive, it’s more accurate to call it Cliff Martinez-esque. Fellow gamers, what do you think of the trailer?
