Well this is a far cry from the usual Labrinth fare, isn’t it? You can see why they’re releasing it – there’s few names hotter than Emeli Sande in UK music right now following her mass exposure during the Olympics opening and closing ceremonies. And of course, Emeli’s part lies as the heart of Beneath Your Beautiful; her vocals are gorgeous, the delivery poised perfectly. What may seem like an unusual musical collaboration actually turns out to be a pretty decent song.  Wiz Khalifa is featured on Ne-Yo’s new track “Don’t Make ‘Em Like You,” which will be on Ne-Yo’s fifth album R.E.D., available on November 6.

Unlike many of the other current rap and hip-hop songs out there now, this one praises and shout outs all the independent and classy women.  Pittsburgh native, Wiz Khalifa, even raps a few lines about his fiancée Amber Rose.

Ne-Yo’s album includes collaborations from Stargate, No I.D., Sia (“Let Me Love You”), Da Internz, The Underdogs, and Diddy and Fabolous (“Should Be You”).
